April 17
At 1:24 a.m., Reilly Hall staff called to report an intoxicated resident who was trying to provoke other residents into fighting.
A sergeant, an officer and a corporal were dispatched to the scene. Upon their arrival, the subject could not be located.
No further action has been taken.
At 9:08 a.m., a subject called to report that her friend was having a seizure in front of Einstein Bros. Bagels in the Union.
An officer was dispatched to the scene along with the Flagstaff Fire Department and Guardian Medical. The subject was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center.
At 8:40 p.m., officers received a report that two subjects were fighting in parking lot 28 on campus.
Two officers were dispatched to the scene. One subject was arrested and booked into Coconino County Jail for minor consumption.
The case is closed.
April 18
At 4:03 a.m., an officer initiated a traffic stop at parking lot 39 on campus.
The driver was intoxicated. An additional officer was dispatched for assistance. The passenger was cited and released for minor consumption. The driver was arrested and booked into Coconino County Jail for driving under the influence. While at the jail, the driver made several threats to commit suicide.
No further information is available.
April 19
At 2:14 a.m., officers received a report that a subject was being very loud and disruptive outside Campus Heights.
Two officers were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers discovered that the subject was very intoxicated. Flagstaff Fire Department and Guardian Medical were dispatched to the scene. The subject was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center.
The case is closed.
April 20
At 9:39 a.m., the parent of a student at the Social and Behavioral Sciences building called to report having received a text message from his son that said a student in his class had an empty holster on his belt.
Two sergeants and three officers were dispatched to the scene. The subject was contacted and found to be unarmed. The holster was part of a nationwide Empty Holster Protest.
April 21
At 9:19 p.m., Sechrist Hall staff called to report a resident had made suicidal threats and had willed his belongings away in a text message to his roommate.
Two officers were immediately dispatched. An additional officer was dispatched later for assistance. The subject was contacted at DuPont and Leroux Avenue. The subject was taken to the hospital for voluntary commitment.
