Rubin Fleischer’s Zombieland is set in a post-apocalyptic world where an evolved form of mad cow disease turned the majority of humanity into zombies, and few human survivors remain. Fortunately for us, the four human survivors in this movie are very funny and enjoyable to watch.
Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) is a nerdy yet likeable teenager who finds himself teaming up with Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) — a hardened zombie-killing machine. Along the way, they encounter Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslon), two sisters who are deadly with shotguns. The two pairs join together and travel across the country while they fight off numerous zombie attacks.
This movie is very entertaining, mostly thanks to Eisenberg’s wimpy/nerdy one-liners and Harrelson’s crude and profane language. Despite laughing a lot while viewing this movie, there were often parts of it where I was confused as to where the plot was heading. I saw the movie as more of a bunch of episodic scenes than one big picture.
The film starts off strong, but when the characters begin driving cross-country, it starts to lag. This wasn’t a big deal because it kept me laughing, but regardless, the plot’s incoherence annoyed me.

Zombieland was very cool…I feel same about the plot though. Wow, it’s almost like we saw the movie together! xD
Oh–Bill Murray’s cameo was amazing, too! hahaha. The clowns, though……ugh. So scary!
Keep up the great reviewing!
