I have to say that the essential element for maintaining some sort of metropolitan concept of popular culture on top of this hill is online shopping. One is aable to search for that perfect pair of gloves (like the pink ones Carries wears when she decides not to go on vacation with Big on “Sex in the City”, that I had to have) for an affordable price, $15 new on eBay. It takes time; patients and you need to know your sizes. Like glove size. There are also a number of online shopping clubs that sell designer items. Some right off the runway.
